We have an exciting opportunity for two Grants Finance Specialists to join our Programme Effectiveness and Compliance team which supports the organisation by developing institutional donor proposals and delivering effective programmes.
In this role, you will support with the management of the budgetary, financial governance and compliance aspects across key institutional and corporate donor projects by providing efficient support across the project lifecycle, including contracting, delivery, reporting and analysis, audit and timely project close-out. Working closely with country offices, you will assist with the development of programme and partnership delivery budgets, budget modifications and internal contract revisions, you will also review and consolidate donor financial reports and support the completion of due diligence assessments.
You will have a solid background in accounting and working with accounting systems, ideally with previous experience in an International Non-Governmental Organisational environment. You will need to have an interest in the sector and the agility to promptly pick up on donor specific rules, regulations and requirements related to budgeting, financial management, compliance and reporting.
You may be required to travel (when possible) for up to 15-20 days per year to Country Offices to support projects, therefore a Basic DBS check is required.
